Fresh picked grape tomatoes, blueberries, and some chipotles in adobo make for one awesome homemade ketchup.

Makes 2 cups

- Ingredients -
12 oz blueberries 1/2 pint of grape tomatoes, halved
1 chipotle pepper + 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
8 oz tomato paste

- Tools -
Roma by Weston Tomato Strainer
Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer

Use your Roma Tomato Strainer with the berry screen to puree your blueberries.

Replace the screen with the pumpkin screen and run the tomatoes through.

Place the chipotle pepper and adobo sauce in the Weston Mixer with the chopper attachment inserted and turn the handle to finely chop the pepper.

Replace the chopper with the mixing attachment and pour in remaining ingredients. Spin the handle again to mix thoroughly.

Cover and refrigerate ketchup until ready to use.

Shayna, this looks amazing! What a gorgeous combination of flavors, and I love that it's all so healthy without some of the questionable preservatives, high-fructose corn syrup and other ingredients you often find in store-bought ketchup! So easy, too!
